Learning at Acton Academy Fishers

Learn to Be

The Acton experience immerses students in real-life situations in ways that allow them to build the social, emotional, and executive skills needed to make a difference in the world. We focus on ethical dilemmas, leadership, social responsibility and being passionate people.

Learn to Do

We believe students learn by doing and building real-life skills. We provide hands-on quests and prepare children for real world challenges. This may include; launching a business, painting a mural, coding, playing an instrument, or growing a garden.

Learn to Learn

Socratic Discussions and self- paced challenges equip children to be independent lifelong learners. As students “learn to learn”, they understand the importance of asking good questions, taking risks, and remaining curious about the world around them.
